The Maienschein Lab includes undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs at ASU and the Marine Biological Laboratory, with emphasis on building collaborations. Working closely with Manfred Laubichler, Kate MacCord, and Karl Matlin, she explores issues at the intersection of life sciences and society.

Jane Maienschein specializes in the history and philosophy of biology and the way that biology, bioethics and biopolicy play out in society.
