Annual History of Biology Seminar hosted at the Marine Biological Laboratory

The 27th annual MBL-ASU History of Biology seminar occurred in Woods Hole May 13-20, 2015.  A group of philosophers, historians, and biologists came together in lively discussion about the ideas and impact of Stephen Jay Gould.  Friends and colleagues recounted stories about his life, and looked in particular at the way Gould’s becoming a celebrity affected his own view of himself.
