AAAS Travel Award Opportunity

2019 AAAS TRAVEL AWARD APPLICATION

Barrett, The Honors College and the Center for Biology and Society are teaming up to offer travel awards for undergraduate students across all science and social science disciplines that are included within AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science).

The AAAS  meeting is the world's largest general scientific meeting. This is a wonderful opportunity to present your research, to attend sessions on a full range of science and policy topics, and to network with members of the international scientific community!

This year, AAAS will be held in Washington, D.C. on February 14‐17, 2019 with the theme Science Transcending Boundaries.  For more AAAS Annual Meeting info… http://meetings.aaas.org/

We have a limited number of undergraduate travel awards and while applications will be competitive, this is an exciting opportunity! Don’t miss out!

The award covers basic economy transportation, food, conference registration, and shared lodging. Please review student responsibilities and deadlines. This is a prestigious opportunity to present your research in a public and professional forum.

To apply, submit the travel award application to Andrea Cottrell (andrea.cottrell@asu.edu) in the Center for Biology and Society (LSC 284), no later than noon, Friday, September 28th.

Please see more information on the AAAS travel and logistics page. Contact Andrea Cottrell with any questions.
