Annual BioEthics Film Series Returns

Join Dr. Jason Robert for a lively discussion. See the series flyer for more details.

The moderated discussions allow us to delve a little more deeply into the ethical issues raised in the films. For this fall, the theme is “Feast, Famine, and Folly”. The ethics of food – of eating, of food production – is a relatively new but very important area of bioethics. Food ethics raises challenging issues about what we eat, where it comes from, what impact it has on us, what impact it has on others, and what impact it has on the environment, as well as what roles individuals, communities, governments, corporations, and others ought to play in the production, distribution, and consumption of food.
We encourage students and faculty from all disciplines to attend films and participate in the panel discussions following the films.
