AAAS Travel Grant Opportunity

September 7, 2017

Barrett, The Honors College and the Center for Biology and Society are teaming up to offer travel grants for selected undergraduate students across all science and social science disciplines that are included within AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science).

The AAAS  meeting is the world's largest general scientific meeting. This is a wonderful opportunity to present your research in a poster, to attend sessions on a full range of science and policy topics, and to network with members of the international scientific community!

This year, AAAS will be held in Austin, TX on February 15‐18, 2018 with the theme Advancing Science: Discovery to Application.  For more AAAS Annual Meeting info… http://meetings.aaas.org/

We have a limited number of undergraduate travel grants and while applications will be competitive, this is an exciting opportunity! Don’t miss out!

The grant covers basic economy transportation, food, and shared lodging. This is a prestigious opportunity to present your research in a public and professional forum.

To apply, submit the travel grant application to Andrea Cottrell in the Center for Biology and Society (LSC 284), no later than noon, Friday, September 29th.

Contact Andrea Cottrell with any questions.
